With over 20 years of unwavering service in healthcare, addiction counseling, and community outreach, Cynthia Heslop is more than a caregiver — she’s a torchbearer of empathy, resilience, and purpose.

Her journey began at Wilmots Nursing School, where she earned her Diploma in Practical Nursing, planting the seeds for a career devoted to healing and hope. Further specializations in Care, Addictions, and Community Service deepened her resolve to uplift the most vulnerable among us.

From supporting youth with acquired brain injuries, to guiding individuals battling addiction, to offering gentle, dignified care to the elderly — Cynthia’s career is a tapestry of roles woven with love and expertise. She has served as a Life Skills Coach, Addictions Attendant, Elderly Assistant, and a compassionate Volunteer at St. Peter’s Hospital — each role reinforcing her devotion to human dignity.

Her efforts haven’t gone unnoticed. She is a proud recipient of the Children’s Aid Society of Simcoe County Award, a testament to her enduring impact on children, families, and entire communities.

Driven by a heart for service and a vision for better care systems, Cynthia is now focused on expanding home care services that put the individual first — blending clinical skill with kindness, and experience with innovation.
